Who says false eyelashes have to look so fake?!  Lucky for you, Lash Royalty has got you covered.  Pictured above, are 3 out of our 10 styles, featured on everyday people (not models), so you can see how beautiful our lashes really are.  They really do look natural and are suitable for eyes of all shapes and sizes. We think eyelashes are a beauty must, because it instantly transforms your eyes from drab to fabulous!  Many women have expressed the concern of not knowing out to apply them, so we decided to share our secrets on how to get a perfect application every time.

Like makeup application, you will eventually yield beautiful results, as long as you take the time to practice.  False strip eyelashes are temporary, easy to apply & remove, and very affordable.  Here are step by step instructions on how to apply false strip lashes.

1.  Choose Lash Royalty high quality false eyelashes, so you don’t end up with spidery or doll lashes.

2.  After you remove the lashes from the tray, always trim them to fit the width of your eye.  The ends should never feel like they are poking into your skin.

3.  Curl your lashes and apply 1-2 coats of black mascara. If you skip this step, you will look like you have two layers of lashes from the side view.  This is not a good look!

4. Apply thin layer of eyelash glue on the eyelash strip.  NEVER directly on your eyelid.  We prefer DUO waterproof glue, available at CVS, Walgreens, etc.

5.  Once glue is on the eyelash strip, gently fan them for a few seconds, so the glue starts to dry.  This will make the application less messy.

6.  We like to apply the eyelash strip by using a pair of clean tweezers.  Be gentle and make sure to adjust the lashes as close to your natural lash line as possible.  You will have only a minute or two, before the glue dries and starts to set.

7.  Continue to keep your eye closed for a few minutes, to make sure glue sets the eyelashes in place.  If you start to blink, you may still be able to knock your eyelash strip out of place!

8.  Finish with a thin (or thick) line of liquid eyeliner.  Your new eyelashes, should now blend in nicely with your natural lashes.

The weather was gorgeous and over 80 celebrities showed up to get pampered at The London Hotel, in honor of the MTV Movie Awards.  We were so lucky have met Boo Boo Stewart from Twilight, Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars, Bella Thorne from Disney Channel, Amber Stevens from Greek, Brandon Eaton from Dexter, Christian Siriano from Project Runway, Max Ryan from Sex and the City 2, Ashley Roberts from Pussy Cat Dolls, and so many other wonderful celebs.  Dj Sivuplay also had the chance to sample our lashes on the day of the event.

Lash Royalty luxury eyelashes were exclusively pre-released at this event, and was a big hit amongst all the women (and, some men were excited as well).  We were so happy to receive compliments on how natural and pretty our lashes looked, in comparison to other brands currently on the market.  We loved, loved, loved, Christian Siriano, he was really sweet (and just as fierce in person) and we’re so happy he thought our lashes were fabulous.   <3

In addition to the amazing guests that mingled at the event, there was also a celebrity pampering pet lounge, and live performances by Katherine McPhee (American Idol), and Abraham McDonald (Winner of Oprah’s Karaoke Challenge).  The event was a great success, and we are so excited to be officially launching our online store very soon.

I love doing my own mani’s & pedi’s, so jumped at the opportunity to try out the new instant manicure set by Sephora & Opi.  I’m a huge fan of nail art, so these simple to apply nail decals were definitely a DIY quick fix.  I picked out the black and white stripes, and was able to apply them without any major set backs.  No need to worry about drying time at all.  Btw, I just finished working a private event over @ the London Hotel in West Hollywood, and all the gals were loving my nails!

Application time:  20 minutes

Tools you will need:  Nail file, buffer & scissors

Price:  $15 per pack of 16 decals, but if you have petite nails like me, you can always cut them in 1/2.  =)

Easy to follow “how to” instructions:

Step 1:  Gently buff nail bed for a smooth surface.

Step 2:  Clean off any oils or lotions off each nail, with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol.

Step 3:  Gently peel off nail decal, and size it up with your nail.  Trim off any excess, and gently rub to remove any bubbles.

Step 4:  Use nail file, to remove excess off the tip (file downwards)

Step 5:  Repeat with all 10 fingers and voila!
