This was our 1st time attending The Makeup Show in LA, and it was definitely an eye opening experience.  Yves Saint Laurent, Stila, Eve Pearl, Temptu, and Makeup Forever were in attendance, showing the newest latest collections and also featuring demos by their talented makeup artists.

Our Top Brand/Products Picks:

-  Our favorite new cosmetic brand is Inglot Cosmetics.  We hear that they have the best pigment colors around, with these cute modular palettes you can create in a number of configurations.

-  The Diamond Perfect Finish Powder by Purely Cosmetics, create a luxurious and flawless finish.  We highly recommend this.

-  Concealer is something we take seriously, and Eve Pearl takes the win for this category.  The coverage was perfect, smooth, and looked extremely natural.

-   For supple and a fresh complexion, try the Glycolic Pumpkin Peel by Jeune d’ âge.  Did we mention it’s organic and is packed with antioxidants?!

Sightings:

The best part of the show was actually meeting some of the biggest Blog/Youtube personalities with the likes of Elessa from Pursebuzz, Koren from Enkore Makeup, Rae from Raeview, Michael from The Sublime Agent, and Queen of Blending.  We also had a chance to mingle with top Makeup Artists, Kat Aragon, Victoria Stiles, and Grace Chun for Eve Pearl Cosmetics.

It was a great show, and we’re definitely looking forward to the next show!

TV Actress Romi Dames, was spotted on the red carpet wearing lashes by Lash Royalty, for the opening night of West Side Story @ The Pantages Theatre in LA.  She looks fabulous, and we are honored that she wore Chloe by Lash Royalty, to complete her flawless makeup look.  Romi is extremely busy on/off television, and we are excited to see what she’s up to in 2011.

The talented and gorgeous Romi Dames is always seen looking flawless and absolutely picture perfect on the red carpet, and we had to find out her beauty secret.  In a special message to her fans, Romi shares her ultimate beauty must have item.

Romi is a popular Actress, who plays the character Traci Van Horn on Hannah Montana.

If you’re a Twilight fan, you’ll quickly recognize teenage actor Boo Boo Stewart, who played the part of Seth Clearwater in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.  Boo Boo and his sister Fivel, stopped by to pick up some goodies from Lash Royalty right before the American Music Awards (AMA’s).  They were absolutely adorable, and we can’t wait to see Boo Boo in the upcoming The Twilight Saga:  Breaking Dawn in 2011.

Lash Royalty had the honor of meeting BC Jean during a private event, in honor of the American Music Awards 2010.  She was absolutely, gorgeous, sweet, and humble.  She kindly took a few minutes to share one of her must have beauty items.

We wish BC Jean all the best, and look forward to listening more to her awesome songs.  One of our personal favorites is “Just A Guy”.

Burlesque performer and actress Evie Lovelle, loves Gimme More Couture and Lash Royalty faux lashes, for her glamorous on-stage performances in Paris.  Miss Evie Lovelle is known for porcelain complexion, perfectly coiffed hair, and fabulous figure.  She is one of the newest and  most talented burlesque performers from LA, and is currently performing all over Europe.  Many have compared Evie to the iconic Dita Von Teese, and we can certainly see the resemblance.

Your beauty signature style: Vintage, late 40s early 50s, practical.

Must have beauty items: Shisiedo SPF 60 sunblock, Nars Cruella lipstick, Benefit eyeliner in black, clear brow gel and Luxe-2 lashes from Lash Royalty for shows and photos!

Beauty tip: Never leave the house without sunblock, casual sun is just as harmful as intentional sun.

Favorite city/country and why: San Francisco/Berkely-the weather, the people, the memories, Port Towndsend Washington-I would eventually love to live here in the “Victorian City by the Sea”, Île d’Oléron in France is magic, Nantes France is a beautiful place too, Chester England-one of the best travel experiences in my life, but until I’ve seen everything, I cannot declare a true favorite.

Tell us, what’s up next and where people can see you perform. The DVD for Tournee, the award winning film I participated in is being released on November 3rd in France! I just got back from a wonderful little tour with the Cabaret New Burlesque to promote this, it was astonishingly fantastic.

Next I’ll be performing in Los Angeles at the Bevy and after that begins a long stay at the Cite de Internacional Theater in Paris, more European dates to be announced!

Michelle Murray is the hottest New Artist in the Country Music business, and was in town to launch her signature cocktail and authentic vodka brand, Taylor Street.  Michelle made an appearance at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, followed by her private red carpet event for Taylor Street Vodka, at The Luxe Hotel on Rodeo Drive.

Lash Royalty is honored that Michelle wore our Chloe eyelashes for the launch of Taylor Street Vodka.  We had a chance to sample her signature cocktail, and it was simply delicious.  Here’s a video clip of Michelle on one of her upcoming projects.

We’re so excited about Twilight Eclipse, and we know millions of you feel the same way too!!!  For the Official Twilight Eclipse Red Carpet Premiere, you can expect to see Lash Royalty luxury eyelashes on some of the Twilight cast!  We made a special commemorative box, filled with styles from our Perfect Lash Collection and also several limited edition styles just for this event.

The weather was gorgeous and over 80 celebrities showed up to get pampered at The London Hotel, in honor of the MTV Movie Awards.  We were so lucky have met Boo Boo Stewart from Twilight, Shay Mitchell from Pretty Little Liars, Bella Thorne from Disney Channel, Amber Stevens from Greek, Brandon Eaton from Dexter, Christian Siriano from Project Runway, Max Ryan from Sex and the City 2, Ashley Roberts from Pussy Cat Dolls, and so many other wonderful celebs.  Dj Sivuplay also had the chance to sample our lashes on the day of the event.

Lash Royalty luxury eyelashes were exclusively pre-released at this event, and was a big hit amongst all the women (and, some men were excited as well).  We were so happy to receive compliments on how natural and pretty our lashes looked, in comparison to other brands currently on the market.  We loved, loved, loved, Christian Siriano, he was really sweet (and just as fierce in person) and we’re so happy he thought our lashes were fabulous.   <3

In addition to the amazing guests that mingled at the event, there was also a celebrity pampering pet lounge, and live performances by Katherine McPhee (American Idol), and Abraham McDonald (Winner of Oprah’s Karaoke Challenge).  The event was a great success, and we are so excited to be officially launching our online store very soon.
