TV Starlet Kim Kardashian is known and loved for her flawless and beautiful makeup.  By popular request, we have enlisted the expertise of Professional Makeup Artist Naomi Lynn, to recreate Kim’s gorgeous makeup look.  All products suggested by Naomi are from MAC, unless stated otherwise.

Eyes

Start by priming the eyes with MAC Paints in Bare Canvas. Although it is considered an eyeshadow, it wears well as a primer because of its powdery finish and crease-free formula. For best application, use a 252 (large shadow brush).

Next, using a 224 brush (blending brush), create a natural crease using Soft Brown eyeshadow. Then, take your 242 brush (small shadow brush) & lightly apply Orb eyeshadow on the inner lid. For a natural highlight, using the same brush, bring Orb into the inner tear duct.

We all know that Kim Kardashian loves a smokin’ smokey eye, so using a mid-tone brown, like Folie eyeshadow as your bottom liner really gives the eyes that soft, sultry look Kim is known for. For best application, use a 219 brush.

This look is the perfect example of how to combine a classic eye and a smokey eye and make them a ultra sexy, yet classy everyday look.

Alas, the star of the show (as usual) her lashes! Kim Kardashian’s 2nd claim to fame, those sexy thick, plush, lashes! Pair the Luxe-1 lashes (by Lash Royalty) with a rich, black liner such as Smolder Eye Kohl for the ultimate eye-catching look.

Complexion

What better way to “Prep and Prime” the skin than with Prep + Prime Transparent Finishing Powder. This powder is sure to have you looking picture purrrfect in no time. Its claim to fame is reducing redness or blochiness, minimizing the appearance of pores and leaving the skin looking and feeling silky and, its suitable for all skin types. For best application apply with a 187 brush. Next, using a 190 brush apply Studio Sculpt foundation for camera ready skin. A medium buildable coverage foundation with a satin finish and its water resistant. Its long-wearing formula keeps you looking fresh faced and runway ready at anytime!

Blush Bronzer

On the outer perimeters of the face apply Refined Golden bronzer. For a touch of colour use Gingerly blush on the apples of the cheek.

Lips

As we know, Kim Kardashian put “the perfect nude lip” on the map! Her favorite nude lip consists of Stripdown lip linerand Angel lipstick. By combining the brown, nude liner such as Stripdown with a frosty, pink lipstick, on her skin, gives the perfect nude lip. For a touch of sass apply Prr lipglass to the center of the lips.

Eyes

Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer- Sin

This product will add a soft sheen to the eyelid and allow for the eyeshadow and eyeliner to last longer and go on with more pigment. The best thing about this product? It can be used a lone for a subtle natural eyelid glow.

With an all over Eyeshadow Brush, add Lorac Eyeshadow in Persuasion mixed with Lancome Eyeshadow in Delice De Creme to the inner corners of the eyelid. These two blended eyeshadows are ideal for the inner corners of the eyes because they will add a pop and natural highlight to the eyes.

With a Blended Eyeshadow Brush, buff Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Flash at the outter corners of the eyelid and blend inward on your natural crease line and lash line. With the same brush focus more on the outter edge of the eyes and lower lash line and blend Lorac Eyeshadow in After Party.

Bright and Bold colors are in for the 2011 Spring season, so to complete Katy Perry’s complete Eye wear, apply Makeup Forever Aqua Eyes Eyeliner in Bronzed Green 5L to the inner rim and lashline. For an sheer extra pop of color, add Makeup Forever Eyeliner in Pistachio 17L to the lower eyelash rime and blend this eyeliner with a Smudge Brush, along with the Bronzed Green Eyeliner. Makeup Forever Eyeliners are ideal for the on the go girl who Loves long lasting eyeliner. Complexion

Blush/Bronzer

Apply  lightly Nars Blush in Desire to the rounds or “apples” of your cheeks. With an all over Powder Brush, Buff the skin lightly with Nars Bronzer in Laguna. Blend The Blush and Bronzer together for an added contour look.

Lips

Apply Too Faced Lip Insurance Primer for a self assured locked down color that will not fade, crease or bleed. Lip Line your lips with YSL Lipliner in Natural which is a soft muted rose color, when done, complete the look by filling in your lips with Nars Lipstick in Dolce Vita which is a sheer dusty rose- Blend the together.

Many of our fans wrote in to ask us if we could do a video tutorial on “How To Apply Lashes”, so we had to call on Natalya from our UK Glam Squad to create something extra special just for you!

Oh my, my, my.  What is going on with their lashes!?  These A-listers are guilty of the ultimate beauty faux pas.  One looks too spidery, and the other set is just a hot mess.

Lash Royalty encourages you to pick the right pair of falsies that compliments your eyes.  Try experimenting with different styles, and figure out your signature look.

We’ve heard that women try to stack 2 lashes on top of each other to create more volume, but with our lashes, you won’t need any of that funny business.  Why waste 2 pairs, when you can achieve beautiful volume with Luxe-1 or Luxe-2.

Choose Lash Royalty!

We think eyelashes are a beauty must, because it instantly transforms your eyes from drab to fabulous!  Many women have expressed the concern of not knowing out to apply them, so we decided to share our secrets on how to get a perfect application every time.

Like makeup application, you will eventually yield beautiful results, as long as you take the time to practice.  False strip eyelashes are temporary, easy to apply & remove, and very affordable.  Here are step by step instructions on how to apply false strip lashes.

1.  Choose Lash Royalty high quality false eyelashes, so you don’t end up with spidery or doll lashes.

2.  After you remove the lashes from the tray, always trim them to fit the width of your eye.  The ends should never feel like they are poking into your skin.

3.  Curl your lashes and apply 1-2 coats of black mascara. If you skip this step, you will look like you have two layers of lashes from the side view.  This is not a good look!

4. Apply thin layer of eyelash glue on the eyelash strip.  NEVER directly on your eyelid.  We prefer DUO waterproof glue, available at CVS, Walgreens, etc.

5.  Once glue is on the eyelash strip, gently fan them for a few seconds, so the glue starts to dry.  This will make the application less messy.

6.  We like to apply the eyelash strip by using a pair of clean tweezers.  Be gentle and make sure to adjust the lashes as close to your natural lash line as possible.  You will have only a minute or two, before the glue dries and starts to set.

7.  Continue to keep your eye closed for a few minutes, to make sure glue sets the eyelashes in place.  If you start to blink, you may still be able to knock your eyelash strip out of place!

8.  Finish with a thin (or thick) line of liquid eyeliner.  Your new eyelashes, should now blend in nicely with your natural lashes.

I love doing my own mani’s & pedi’s, so jumped at the opportunity to try out the new instant manicure set by Sephora & Opi.  I’m a huge fan of nail art, so these simple to apply nail decals were definitely a DIY quick fix.  I picked out the black and white stripes, and was able to apply them without any major set backs.  No need to worry about drying time at all.  Btw, I just finished working a private event over @ the London Hotel in West Hollywood, and all the gals were loving my nails!

Application time:  20 minutes

Tools you will need:  Nail file, buffer & scissors

Price:  $15 per pack of 16 decals, but if you have petite nails like me, you can always cut them in 1/2.  =)

Easy to follow “how to” instructions:

Step 1:  Gently buff nail bed for a smooth surface.

Step 2:  Clean off any oils or lotions off each nail, with a cotton ball soaked in rubbing alcohol.

Step 3:  Gently peel off nail decal, and size it up with your nail.  Trim off any excess, and gently rub to remove any bubbles.

Step 4:  Use nail file, to remove excess off the tip (file downwards)

Step 5:  Repeat with all 10 fingers and voila!

With those hot summer days, the last thing you want to do is spend a long time applying your make up.  Besides, the au natural look works best for warm summer days, since you’ll be nice and tan.  Pictured above, are a couple of must have items, to achieve a quick, effortless, flawless, beauty spring/summer look.  This natural look, also works well for bridal makeup.

We recommend:

1.  Applying SPF as your base layer, then apply your moisturizer.  We like, using an all-in-one from Estee Lauder with SPF 35.

2.  Gently dab concealer under your eyes, only if you need it.

3.  Light dust your face with a translucent powder, then apply light strokes of bronzer to the apple of your cheeks, chin, and fore head (MAC Powder Bronzer).

4.  Lightly finish your cheeks with a peachy pink shimmer blush (NARS Orgasm).

5.  Use a buffer brush to blend in any harsh lines (MAC Buffer 182).

6.  Curl lashes, and 2 swipes of jet black waterproof mascara (Dior Show or Chanel Imitable).

7.  For an ultra sexy, but natural look, apply Lash Royalty (Style: Ballerina) eyelashes.

8.  Use gel liner on top lid (Stila Smudgepot).

9.  Finish your lips with lip liner and then a swipe of pinkish nude lipstick  (Lip liner:  MAC subculture, Lipstick: MAC Viva Glam II or MAC Lazy Day).

Let me introduce you to the MAC 182, Buffer Brush.  The MAC BB, is the magic tool thats smoothly buffs and blends in your bronzer and blush.  You can use the MAC BB bare, and just swirl it over the areas where you have applied bronzer and/or blush.  You will instantly notice how soft and natural your bronzer and/or blush will look on your skin.

For the ultimate finish to a night out, gently swipe your MAC BB in translucent powder, and gently buff over your bronzer/or blush areas.  This will help set your makeup, leaving a gorgeous airbrushed look to your skin!
