The Oscars weekend was a very memorable one for us, as we were fortunate to have met and pampered 15 amazing women from the National Domestic Workers Association (NDWA).

A dream team of celebrity makeup artists and hair stylists came together at Kimble Hair Salon to get the women red carpet ready for their Oscar party in the evening.  Here is exclusive behind the scenes video of all the action.

We are also extremely proud the ladies of NDWA made it on Entertainment Tonight, and they looked amazing in their gowns and red carpet makeup.  Click on the image to see the whole video clip.

The streets of NYC were packed with FNO goers, as the city kicked off Fashion Week.  Dop Dop Salon hosted a charity event in honor of GEMS Girls, and the turn out was amazing.  Celebrity Makeup Artist Leora Edut did one-on-one makeovers using top beauty products to include the Beauty Blender and Lash Royalty lashes.

This pink carpet event featured a live DJ, hair styling, makeovers by Celeb MUA Leora Edut, beauty blender fun, Lash Bar by Lash Royalty, and decadent desserts by Tasty Morsels Bakery.  It was an unforgettable evening and we would like to thank everyone that came out to support GEMS Girls.

We’d like to extend a special thank you to Cecile for hosting our Lash Bar at The Apothecary inside of The Venetian Hotel & The Palazzo Hotel in Las Vegas.  The Apothecary carries a variety of quality products ranging from Lollia perfumes & lotions, Too Faced Cosmetics, to Brandon Martinez haircare products.

This charming section of South Beverly Drive (between Wilshire and Olympic Blvds.) known as SoBev will host their own brand of holiday cheer at the SoBev Holiday Open House on Saturday, December 11 from 5:00 – 8:00 pm. More than 30 stores will offer in-store refreshment, entertainment and music while, on the street, carolers will stroll, a balloon artist will captivate and SANTA himself will visit and pose for photos with the young ones. The Beverly Hills Trolley will also pick up riders throughout the Golden Triangle area during this time, letting them off at South Beverly Drive to enjoy the festivities.
